It works on the principle of real time tracking in order to track any position by longitude, latitude on a digital map. If the object that you are trying to track enters some underground park or any other place where there are no signals then the device reports you last tracked position. It also provides you the auto-tracking feature as well. Using this feature you can set some interval of time and the device reports you the tracking information during that particular interval of time. The tracking system also allows you to add or cancel authorized numbers. The SOS and the monitoring functions are also made available. Geo-fence feature is also enabled that will alert you in case if tracker gets out of the area set-up. Through the E-lock facility the SMS will be sent to the numbers that are authorized in case of dismounting. If tracker stops, it will automatically turn on. Through the over-speed limit feature an SMS is generated to the authorized numbers if object goes beyond the set speed. It also offers you the shaking alert and low-power alert features. You can also protect your car from being theft by cutting off power and oil from a distant place.
This tracking system can be applied for tracking the outdoor machines or for the vehicle-renting. You can also monitor old persons, kids, pets and the disabled people. It contains the SIRF3 GPS chip and has 20 channels. The sensitivity level of the device is -159dBm. It provides you the precision inside 5 meters and you can track anything in this range. The tracking time for the cold-operation is about 35 seconds on average while that of the warm-operation is about 1 second. You can recharge it on the car with input of 12V and output of 5V, while that on flashboard requires input of 110-220V and the output of 5V. A 3.7V and 800mAh Li-battery (replaceable/rechargeable) is required for the sake of operating this particular tracking system.
